All About The Oxhorn Music Mix Blog

With the proliferation of so much great music, it’s getting harder and harder to sort the good from the bad. Here at The Oxhorn Music Mix we’re committed to building an independent community dedicated to discovering the greatest out there (past, present and future).

We believe it’s important to step outside the normal boundaries of top-40 (or the Indie band du jour), because we define ourselves through the art, literature and music we listen to. The songs and writing you find here are meant to be examples of what lies beyond - a jumping off point. Please explore what these artists offer, and if you value their work, purchase it.

The point of this site isn’t for us to sit here sharing our thoughts with you; please take a moment to let us know what you’re thinking, too. Please turn us on to a new band, share a personal story from a concert or just say “Hi.” Also, be sure to subscribe, so you can stay up-to-date on our discussions.
